Difference between cases for the iPad and iPad 2

The iPad 2 differs from the original iPad in that it is thinner and lighter. It's sides are more sloped. We have developed the iPad Kneeboard Pro™ for the iPad 2 to take advantage of these improvements. The iPad is held in the iPad Kneeboard Pro™ by its snug fit on its flat sides. The iPad 2 is held in the iPad Kneeboard Pro™ by the use of magnets that are in the case bottom, similar to how the iPad 2 holds its own cover in place.

iPad 2 uses a high-resolution, easily applied, graphic Skin Back (included) applied to the back of iPad 2. See sample picture below. There are four iPad 2 Skin Back choices - Silver, Steel, Carbon, and Deco. Silver is standard. If you want any of the other choices, Contact Us after you place your order and tell us which one you like. The Skin has four small, thin (about the size and thickness of a dime), stainless steel discs already applied.

The iPad 2 Skin Back is a premium quality, adhesive-backed cast vinyl that is sealed with a glossy, protective enamel that ads long-lasting protection and a terrific feel to the back of the iPad 2. The Skin can be easily removed in the future leaving no residue. See picture below. Both the iPad and iPad 2 enjoy the ability to be easily placed in, secured and removed from the iPad Kneeboard Pro™ as a result.
